The story

Built by a solo developer who needed persistent memory for AI agents and couldn't find a solution that was EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant, and developer-friendly.

Every memory API on the market is US-hosted, venture-backed, and priced for enterprise. None of them serve the PHP ecosystem. None of them treat GDPR as a first-class design constraint rather than a compliance checkbox.

Memra exists to fill that gap. A clean REST API, first-party SDKs, and content storage that gives you full control over your data. Self-hosted in Germany, built with the tools we actually use.
